Social Studies 1st Amendment
7. Circulate a petition calling for the repeal of an unpopular law. In the 1at amendment it states that you can have a petition as long as nobody gets hurt.
8. Post your opinion on your blog about an issue being discussed at a local school board meeting. In the 1st amendment you can say or print anything that you want to as long as it is true.
The first amendment is important in my everyday life because if it was not for the first amendment we could not get together at school and learn about everyday issues, we could not speak our opinions about the issues that happen everyday. Also if the first amendment was not active we could not have our own religion we would have to go by the religion that the president went by.

The desert landforms of the Sahara are shaped by wind or by occasional rains, and include sand dunes and dune fields or sand seas stone plateaus gravel plains, dry valleys, and salt flats.Unusual landforms include the Richat Structure in Mauritania. Egyptians found the land in 6000 B.C.
This is a important land because it is home to lots of animals and there are tribes all over the desert that live off of the animals there. It is 2,837 miles from my last location. I flew from place to place. It cost 550 dollars for everything. I had no problems during my travels. The only difference that I noticed was the climate.

What is the capital of the country? The Capital of Namibia is Windhoek. Countries that border this country are South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Angola. The bodies of water border this country are South Atlantic ocean. the GPS coordinates of my location are 22 33 south 17 15 East. Namibia's climate is typical of semi-desert terrain, hot days and cool nights. The coastal regions are cooled by the cold Benguela current, causing fog and inhibiting rainfall. Over the central plateau in the country which is higher up, temperatures are understandably lower. There is lots of sand and it has been blown around from the wind.
Why is the location important? This location is home to thousands of animals and plants and tribes. It is 4837 miles away from the desert in Spain. I flew to this location. No I did not have any layovers. it cost 850 dollars.
I feel very nervous about may travels

What is the climate of your location? The Tabernas Desert is situated between the Sierra de los Filbres to the north and the Sierra de Alhamilla to the south-southeast, isolating it from the humid winds of the Mediterranean Sea, in an area with little rainfall known as Levante . The desert receives about 24 cm of rain a year. Together, the high temperatures felt all year long (average temperature of 18°C) and one of the longest levels of sun exposure possible (3000 hours) produce the dry climate that gives rise to this true desert. My location looks like Dry lots of rocks and little grass. Because it home to lots of animals and plants

Memoir
BY: Amelia Nickerson Date: January 9 ,2009
“Wake up already! You're going to be late,” Mom said as she was shaking my whole bed trying to wake me. “You need to get up. It's 7:00 and you need to be there at 8:00.” I had a trip with my basketball team to go to Aquaboggan for the day. The one day I wanted to sleep in I had to get up for a trip, but I really wanted to go have fun with some of my friends. When I was ready to go my mom made sure that I had every thing that I needed. That was a lot. When we got into Newport my mom stopped into Shop n' Save I got some Gatorade and a pack of gum for the way down and back. We also stopped at Dunkin' Donuts, and my mom got all the things that I liked. I especially like the munchkins.
Instead of riding with my mom like other people were riding with. I rode with a friend. It was a long ride down to Aquaboggan, and I was still real tired. My legs were all cramped up because I hadn't stretched in a long time. When we finally got to Aquaboggan we went right into the park because we had all prepaid for the trip. They had set out an area for all of us to leave our stuff. Everyone went and got our bathing-suits on as soon as we got to the park. The team had separated into groups, these are the groups that we stayed in all day. The group that I was in was with Sam Simpson, Taylor Quick ,Emily Paige. Angel and Steve, Taylor's Mom and Dad, followed us to keep an eye on all of us.
The first ride that we went on was a big ballon. and at the top there was a fountain and a seat that you could sit on . The object of the ride was to climb up when holding on to a rope but both the ballon and the rope were wet and hard to hang onto. This was a very tricky thing to do. After that Angel and Steve rented two 2-seated tubes. We used those tubes on almost all the rides. The second ride that we went on was the worst ride that we went on all day. This rides you couldn't use a tube. You just went down on your back. You were told to hold your legs together and cross your arms, for safety reasons but that was hard to do with the speed that we were going at. It felt like we were going 60mph. This was not the greatest ride of the day actually far from it.
The next ride that we went on was the best one. The reason I liked this ride is because we actually could use the tubes and on all of the rides I rode in the back. We went faster if I was in the second seat of the tube. I don't remember the name of it but I remember what It was shaped liked. The ride was almost a full round tube but wasn't. It twisted and turned and we went up on the side of the tube. Everyone liked this ride it was the best ride I thought anyway. I think that everyone else liked this ride too it was fun and it went some what fast. Then after that we went to the wave pool and that was some fun the farther you went back the more of a push that you got thrashing you back and push you under the water every second. The next thing that we did was a water balloon fight we must of used 100 balloon's if not more of them. There was a balloon slingshot type thing that would fling the balloon at the other person. After we had all that fun we had lunch. I had waffle fries which are french fries that are shaped like waffles. I also had a slice of pepperoni pizza which tasted all right but it wasn't the best. For my desert I had a M&M cookie which I saved for the trip back home. For a drink I had a 16oz. cup of Sprite. After about ten minutes we had gone back to rides. We went on the go-carts and I think that the go-carts were the best ride of all. I think that the reason why this ride was the best is because I'd had all ready rode on a go-cart before at my cousins house. I rode on the go-carts more than anything els while I was there. After the go-carts we went on one more water ride and that was one that we used mats that was a lot of fun. But after that Taylor, Sam and Emily had to all leave so I just went and played in that wave pool. Then the rest of the team and I went on the go-carts for the rest of the time that we were there Kylie and I were stopping anybody who came up behind us and it was a lot of fun. I must have gone on that ride 7 times if not more than that.
I only went on maybe one more water ride after I went on the go-carts that day. At about 3:00 or 4:00 we packed up and went home and it took forever but on the way back home I figured out that I had got a sun burn at the park. It hurt so bad . When I got home I put some aloe on the burn I must of put it on a million times. But over all I think that the day at the water park was actually fun. It was probably the most fun day out of the whole summer.

I love to eat the fruits and vegetable that have just been picked.
Were I live there is a river to the north of the palace and then open fields to the south and West and then there are roads to the east.
