Social Studies 1st Amendment

1. Give a speech before a large gathering of people and express opinions about the president's abilities. This is protected by the first amendment because in the 1at amendment you have the freedom of speech.
7. Circulate a petition calling for the repeal of an unpopular law. In the 1at amendment it states that you can have a petition as long as nobody gets hurt.
8. Post your opinion on your blog about an issue being discussed at a local school board meeting. In the 1st amendment you can say or print anything that you want to as long as it is true.
The first amendment is important in my everyday life because if it was not for the first amendment we could not get together at school and learn about everyday issues, we could not speak our opinions about the issues that happen everyday. Also if the first amendment was not active we could not have our own religion we would have to go by the religion that the president went by.

I am going to the Sahara Desert. It is in Northern Africa The Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic ocean border these country's. the GPS coordinates of my location would be Latitude: 26° 0' 0 N, Longitude: 13° 0' 0 E. The climate of the Sahara has undergone enormous variation between wet and dry over the last few hundred thousand years.
The desert landforms of the Sahara are shaped by wind or by occasional rains, and include sand dunes and dune fields or sand seas stone plateaus gravel plains, dry valleys, and salt flats.Unusual landforms include the Richat Structure in Mauritania. Egyptians found the land in 6000 B.C.
This is a important land because it is home to lots of animals and there are tribes all over the desert that live off of the animals there. It is 2,837 miles from my last location. I flew from place to place. It cost 550 dollars for everything. I had no problems during my travels. The only difference that I noticed was the climate.

I am going to the Kalahari Desert. It is in the west to Namibia and in the east to Zimbabwe.
What is the capital of the country? The Capital of Namibia is Windhoek. Countries that border this country are South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Angola. The bodies of water border this country are South Atlantic ocean. the GPS coordinates of my location are 22 33 south 17 15 East. Namibia's climate is typical of semi-desert terrain, hot days and cool nights. The coastal regions are cooled by the cold Benguela current, causing fog and inhibiting rainfall. Over the central plateau in the country which is higher up, temperatures are understandably lower. There is lots of sand and it has been blown around from the wind.
Why is the location important? This location is home to thousands of animals and plants and tribes. It is 4837 miles away from the desert in Spain. I flew to this location. No I did not have any layovers. it cost 850 dollars.
I feel very nervous about may travels

I am going to visit the Australian Desert. It is in Australia. The capital is Canberra. This Country does not Border any other Country's. The body's of water that border Australia is the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Southern Ocean. The coordinates of Australia is 20S 160E. It is Hot in Australia. Australia looks like Sand. The written history of Australia began when duch explorers first sighted the landmass in the 17th century . The interpretation of the history of Australia is currently a matter of some contention, particularly regarding the British settlement and early treatment of Indigenous Australians. The location is good because It is dry.
